A very young Cynthia Nixon who would later to act with Chris Noth in Sex and the City.

Obviously, the show finds a lot of inspiration in real events. I do appreciate that they choose difficult storylines and try to show all the nuances of both sides of the argument.

I vaguely remember the Goetz case and liked the twists on it here: female shooter, etc.

I enjoyed the detectives back and forth. Greevey taking a small 180 was a slight disappointment because he played the straight man so well.

On the order side, Stone sure does like to raise his voice, though usually warranted. I thought his fears of an acquittal were well founded and nuanced in the show. I would have rather it played out without the little "twist" at the end and saw what a true verdict would have been.

It's interesting and also somewhat sad as a society that this exact story could be going on right now just the same as it was 25 years ago.

Another episode that is ripped from the headlines, being based on the famous Bernie Goetz case.
